My Approach

I work as an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on a variety of therapeutic models to suit your unique needs. These include:

  • Relational and psychodynamic approaches (influenced by Clarkson and Kohut)

  • Humanistic and person‑centred approaches

  • Attachment‑based and intercultural perspectives

  • Trauma‑informed and mindfulness practices

Rather than using a single theory, I weave together these ideas flexibly, tailoring our work to your goals and experiences.

We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind, is one of the most potent forces for change that I know.”

Carl Rogers, Psychologist

Working Together

Counselling is a collaborative process. We’ll explore the issues that bring you to therapy, develop insight and understanding, and work on practical ways to support your well‑being. You can expect confidentiality, professionalism, and a space where you are heard without judgment.
