If you’re reading this, you might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to turn. I am a warm, down-to-earth and open-minded counsellor, and I offer a supportive space where you can explore what’s going on for you at your own pace. I specialise in working with anxiety, low mood, and the impact of ongoing health challenges, and have also supported clients with a range of other difficulties.

I am a registered member of the BACP, my practice is also listed on Crystal Palace Practice, and I am a trained RNIB Accredited Sight Loss Counsellor (RNIB).

I offer therapy in Beckenham, Crystal Palace and Sydenham, as well as online sessions. I also run Women’s Circles, volunteer with SANDS, and have experience facilitating group work for Action for Happiness.

I understand that taking the first step to seek counselling can feel daunting, but I will help you feel at ease and move at a pace you feel comfortable with.

My own life experiences and personal healing influenced my decision to become a counsellor. I remain committed to my personal growth and to my professional development.

I have a keen interest in mindfulness, which I continue to use in my own life. If you would like to learn about it or expand on your mindfulness practice, then we can utilise this during our sessions.

Experience

I offered short-term solution-focused therapy for NHS clients within the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service. During my time there, I worked with a diverse range of clients who were experiencing a vast array of issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, chronic health challenges and bereavement. I have also worked in open-ended and low-cost psychotherapy for the community interest company Headstrong Counselling. I worked with a broad range of issues and was able to go deeper by offering as many sessions as each client required.

I believe that the relationship between the client and therapist is key to success. I offer a free, no-obligation chat for you to get a feel for me and how I work.

I have worked with a diverse range of people from different backgrounds and cultures, who were experiencing a broad range of things such as relationship breakdowns, chronic stress, low self-esteem, lack of purpose, self-harm and depression. I respect and value equality, diversity and inclusion.
